I decided this show needs a thread. I can't get too in-depth discussing it yet since I'm still working my way through season one on DVD, but I'm trying! :P

My goal is to finish season one and get through season two before the third one starts, but I'm not so sure that will be happening. But I can save the new episodes on my DVR until I'm ready for them. Anyone know when the third season starts?

I'm loving what I've seen of this show so far. It took me a few episodes to really get into it, but then it clicked for me and I could think, "Now I get why people are so obsessed with this show!"

I also know the Elle is quite the spoiler queen, though I'm not sure if that extends to Supernatural. But you can start a thread for SPN spoilers in the Spoilers section if you're so inclined.

And that's very cool that you've met them! Many girls around the world would kill to do that. (Possibly literally. No disrespect to the sane ones, but there are some freakin' crazy SPN fans out there! heh)

And, I'm obsessed with this show, everything about it. The characters and the storylines are interesting, not to mention the two actors who play the two brothers are fine <3. I can't wait until season 3 starts, i've been counting down the days until it's finally HERE. Lol, i'm very exctied. :P

Lol, i'm sure you will. I still haven't seen all of Season 2, i've seen bits and pieces of episode or I skip episodes like one day i'll watch 2x4 and than the next 2x16.

Not really, because I have a good understanding of what's going on, and what's going to happen since people keep telling me which ruins the surprise for me, but it's all good lol.

Aww, that would bum me out. I don't really like to know what's going to happen on a show until I see it. (Casting spoilers, however, are another thing completely. I want to know who will be there, just not what they'll be doing. lol)

Aahh I love Supernatural! Mainly due to the fact that Jensen and Jared are so hot haha.

The christmas episode of season 3 just aired here and I loved it! Lmao it was so funny when J&J/S&D started singing Silent Night! And when Dean said, 'fudgin' touch me again, I'll fudgin' kill ya'. hah!

nope, we're not even halfway season 3 ..we have the DVD boxes but stuff always gets in the way of us finishing them

I never miss an episode. A lot of other shows I can 'pass' on for a week or will 'catch up later'. But I always have to see Supernatural. (Though when at home I usually tape it and watch Grey's Anatomy, but that's because I save my Supernatural tapes for the year until the DVD is released, so I can watch the eps again, whenever I want. *L* It's a great start to the season so far, I'm totally into it. :)

Yeah, I'm hoping with 'one more to go' that CW will give it the go to let it play all out. And I kind of like that Kripke has a plan and has some concept of where it's going to go and how long it's going to be to get there. Which hopefully will mean a good ending. By good I mean interesting and involving. I'm not assured that Sam or Dean will actually live. *L* Cause Kripke might be sadistic like that. *L*

we think it's been going downhill already..we liked the first season best, when they were all about myths and urban legends..now they just make stuff up

the second season was about sam, the third was about dean (we can't tell you how many times they said "you are gonna die", "i'm gonna die anyway" or whatever...

Not that many novelties

Actually I think Supernatural is getting more interesting this season. It's reinventing its self each season, with each having it's own tone and feel. The stakes keep getting higher, and the more they learn about the demons and Sam and all that, the more intense it gets. I really love where it started, the first season was really great... but I think if they were doing that same thing they did in season one, the whole time, people might be complaining that it's getting 'dull'. I mean, there's only so many really good myths and legends to see. And they aren't really pulling from nothing now, they're now getting into a realm of demons and angels and Judeo-Christian mythology with their own take on it, kind of like how they took their own 'slant' on the Hookman legend.

Yes it's kind of hard to keep the plot interesting and all the episodes- I wouldn't know what to do at all- so I'm glad that Kripke has his plan- LMAO

I hope Sam and Dean survive in the end and get some kind of 'happy' in the end too. But I worry that Kripke is just 'evil' enough to kill one or both of them or something like that. Cause he seems in the vein of sorts like Joss Whedon and Chris Carter and such, who always had a little pain in the end too. Now, Mulder and Scully did live, but Carter killed off masses of other favorite side characters like Lone Gunmen, among others. And Buffy did end with some 'hope', but not before someone lost an eye and a wife. *L* And Angel, well, OMG, I like screamed at the end of that show. I still can't believe it ended like that. Fighting a hord of demons and beasts from the underworld in an ally, outnumbered like four to a thousand. *L* But, I hope Sam and Dean will get some kind of happy ending, but I'm not counting on it either.... And I hope Bobby doesn't die either.

I may look kinda freak, but I hope it's not gonna be and hopeful end ... I just can't imagine a happy end for a show like Supernatural ... Just imagine the two brothers with women and kids ? Nahhhhhhhhhhh ! Maybe just that they leave with the Impala, and ACDC ... yeah, that sounds great ... but they can't stop hunting for sure !!! I mean, Sam has had a life with no demons, but do you really think Dean can live "normally" ? Becoming a cop for instance :laugh: No no, he can't ! I think the best end would have no definite end, just letting people imagine what they want

if no one dies- they will just like- continue hunting- but nooooo... Kripke likes Cliffhangers... so an ending with an OMG-effect is like totally typical.
