Title: Harry Potter

Any other fans?

I'm a total Harry Potter geek. I've read all the books at least five times already.

My favorite one is Half Blood Prince (the sixth one), because it's got loads of Draco <3

I love Harry Potter! And the 6th book is my favourite as well... even if not for Draco but for Ron and Hermione and the plot in general.

I can't wait for the movie, even if I know it will be disappointing as always. Lol.

lol! The movies definitely can't compare to the books but that hasn't stopped me yet from watching the movie a couple of times in the cinema

we cannot stand J.K.'s moneyhungry attitude these days... so no, we're no fans ..never where actually, not the books, not the movies..Nada

come to think of it..we have yet to be able to complete one of its movies ...we think they're so..boring!

Harry Potter will be realised early in USA, UK and... guess what (well, where..) ITALY! Yay! :hyper: As I said before I'm sure I will be disappointed (but not as much as my friends) but I'm really curious about it.

I have to change my countdown now... Lol.

Yeah, me too! I thought it was going to come out the 15th but according to the poster in the theater, it'll be out here on the fifth ^^ :hyper:

DuckyZu - June 30, 2009 04:29 PM (GMT)
So, it comes to you even before!? Lucky you!

Speaking of movies, I bought the second and fifth ones today, cause I bought the third when it came out and while looking through dvds today I thought it was stupid to have just one. :P And I have a crash on the actor who plays Tom Riddle in Chamber of secrets.

Hahaha, he's cute. <3 :D

I read again the chapter where Dumbledore dies, I can't wait to see that scene. Morbid much? :P

Ahah... this is the book section but yet we (well, I) talked only about the movie.

So... let's see. What's you favourite book? And what about the character?

I think I have already said that my favourite one is the 6th, there are so many great things! The was Draco is acting, the drama between Ron and Hermione, the final part which I love, even if it's so sad.

I don't know about the character, I think it's Ron but I love the trio, and Neville, he was so hardcore in the last book I wish there would be more of him!

You know what Rowling should do? Write a book about what happened in Hogwarts while the trio was away, I don't hate the last book but I admit that the part with only the three of them was kinda boring... I missed the school action and the other characters.

I'm seeing it tomorrow! I'm so excited for it! This is my favorite book :hyper: and the movie seems to have a lot of Draco wich is just plain awesome. :pervy:

DuckyZu - July 17, 2009 09:16 AM (GMT)
Watched it! What do you think about it?

annemiek - July 17, 2009 12:50 PM (GMT)
not enough Weasley twins, it was good but I can understand that the movie is too hard for people who didnt read the book. Having read the book was definitely a plus. They also left a lot out and it wasnt one of my favorite films of the bunch so far. LOVED Snape as always and Ron was hilarious!

Still, the book was better than this movie...

I read HBP again, and now I'm planning on reading also DH, since when it came out I rushed because I wanted to know the ending.

The book is even better than I remembered. I really got to appreciate Dumbledore as I didn't care much about him before, and I felt really sad knowing what would happen. It's a pity that the scene at the burrow (the original one) is missing, the discussion between Harry and the new minister is one of my favourite parts in the book. Harry was very badass there "I have not forgotten Minister, I must not tell lies".
The "Dumbledore's man through and through" and "I am not worried Harry, I am with you" are watery eyes material.

I even saw the movie again last night, now I can say that overall I'm satisfied. My complaints are for the beginnig (Harry wandering in London like that? Yeah, right), I missed the Dursleys; the burrow scene I mentioned before and the ending wasn't as poweful as in the books, no fight and the Harry/Snape scene after the murder could have been more dramatic.
I don't know about the romance, I wasn't convinced even in the book how the things were dealed between Harry and Ginny, but one of my favourite Hermione and Ron scene was ruined.

Still I enjoyed the movie, I was glad to watch it with someone who wouldn't complain for everything. :)
