It official Danneel will be in at least seven episodes next season!!!!

"A One Tree Hill rep is now confirming what I first hinted at in Ask Ausiello: The bitch is back!

Danneel Harris has closed a deal to reprise her role as pot-stirrer Rachel Gatina in at least seven episodes next season, beginning with eppy 7.02.

Harris made her Tree Hill debut as Brooke's high school nemesis in season 3 but wasn't made a series regular until season 4. She was written out in season 5 after only a handful of episodes, an apparent victim of the show's four-year flash forward.

In other Tree Hill news, the last of next season's new contract roles has gone to Nuevo 90210 grad Jana Kramer. She'll play Alexis, a model who becomes the new face of Brooke's clothing line. As previously reported, Lipstick Jungle's Robert Buckley and relative newcomer Shantel VanSanten are also joining the cast as Nathan's sports agent and Haley's sister respectively. "

YAY!!! Im glad they confirmed it. I was so excited to see her back in season 5 then she only had 2 episodes.

I think i will need to watch this online as they are only now showing season 6 here so it will be a year till it airs.

ive already expressed how excited i was to hear of Danneel returning to season 7 on another thread but im gonna say it again here! haha ... Season 7 is looking to be a good one!

Sorry I haven't been around in a few days - busy, busy, busy! Anyway, that's awesome! I wasn't even sure I'd watch this coming season, but now that they're finally bringing Rachel back, looks like I'm sold!

It'll be awesome to get a weekly dose of Danneel again -- for at least seven weeks. :P

does anyone else feel like Danneel will be in more than just 7 episodes? She's already appeared in 3 episodes of her 7? but i feel like her story hasnt gone anywhere sooo either the next 4 episodes she's in will revolve around her story orrr she'll be in more than 7 episodes. I'm hoping shes in more episodes!

No, it was reported she'll be in "at least seven episodes." So it sounds like adding more episodes is a possibility. We shall see...

A friend of mine who went to Vancon said she talked to Danneel about OTH and that she said she was going to be in almost all episodes. :)

I'm looking forward for some anykind of interaction with any other character and some more screentime then just standing behind Dan. They could make really good storyline for her.

we're kinda dissapointed with the storyline so far... all the dan/rachel relationship has done in the past few episodes is being exactly the same and identical as the previous episode; and, to be truthful, bored us to no end

they should be doing so much more than just being there on that stage, being weird and talking with that blissful salvation smile on (his) face

I'm disappointed with her current storyline too. Her marriage to Dan could have so much potencial, but they are ruining it by giving them 2 minutes in every epi, with Dan trying to convince everyone he's a good guy and Rachel simply smiling in a manipulative way in the backgroud. Why aren't they giving her more screentime and actual lines, in an actual storyline???? :(

Even Chase has more screentime than Rachel, I can't even begin to describe how much that annoys me (no offence to Chase fans, if there are any) <_<

Yeah, this Rachel storyline blows so far... I'm getting impatient for her to interact with someone other than Dan (or the skank trying to extort money from Nathan), but I'm hoping once they blast Nathan on Dan's show it'll finally bring Dan and Rachel into the rest of the main characters' orbits.

BRING ON BRACHEL! ...This could actually be like a reboot on Brachel, since obviously Brooke will not be pleased with Rachel when they finally do meet again. But hopefully things will turn around like they always seem to with those two.
